The IMPORT 20921 is a mechanics-length drill bit designed for general-purpose drilling in metal and ferrous materials. It features a 135-degree split point that reduces walking on contact, allowing the bit to self-center without a center punch in most applications. The high-speed steel (HSS) construction with an oxide finish provides adequate hardness and surface protection for production or maintenance drilling work. The Weldon flat shank with three flats locks securely into drill chucks equipped for that interface, preventing slippage under load. Licensed machinists, millwrights, pipefitters, and maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this tool type.

This bit is suited for drilling through carbon steel, cast iron, high alloy steel, high tensile strength alloy, stainless steel, and general steel stock.
