The IMPORT -20918-5 is a mechanics-length high-speed steel drill bit designed for fast, accurate hole-starting in ferrous and hard metals. Built with a 135-degree split point, it eliminates the need for a center punch by self-centering on contact with the workpiece. The Weldon flat shank provides a positive, slip-free grip in compatible chucks. At 4-1/8 inches overall length with a 2-5/8 inch flute length, this bit is sized for general-purpose drilling in tight or standard access conditions. The oxide finish adds light corrosion resistance during storage and use.
