It features a 135-degree split point tip, which reduces walking on contact and requires less feed pressure than a conventional 118-degree point. The straight-cylindrical shank seats cleanly in standard drill chucks. At 0.089 inches in diameter and 2.25 inches overall length, this bit is suited for tight-clearance drilling tasks where a jobber-length bit would be impractical. An oxide coating provides light corrosion resistance during storage and use.
