The HERTEL SZ0031B is a solid carbide abrasive bur in a ball head shape, designed for material removal, deburring, and surface finishing in metalworking and fabrication applications. Built to the SD-5 industry specification, this bur features a 1/2-inch cutting diameter and a 1/4-inch shank diameter. The double-cut tooth style produces a faster cut rate with a finer finish than single-cut burs, making it well-suited for work on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, hardened steel, and cast iron. The uncoated solid carbide construction provides consistent hardness and wear resistance across the cutting surface.
