The HERTEL MR34-0299.281 is a solid carbide chucking reamer designed for precision hole finishing in tight-tolerance machining applications. With a reamer diameter of 0.76 mm and a diameter tolerance of 0.0000 to +0.0003 mm, this tool delivers consistent bore sizing in a single pass. The spiral flute geometry with left-hand spiral direction and right-hand cutting action helps clear chips efficiently during through-hole reaming. It carries a bright (polished) coating finish and features a straight shank for standard chuck or collet mounting. Machinists and toolroom technicians working in high-precision environments will find this tool suited for small-diameter bore work in metals and hard materials.
This chucking reamer is intended for use on CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual lathes where final hole sizing and surface finish are critical. The 50 mm overall length and 7 mm flute length make it appropriate for shallow-to-moderate depth holes in the sub-1 mm diameter range. Applications include instrument components, medical device parts, watch components, and other precision assemblies requiring repeatable bore geometry. It is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of one piece.
Designed as an OEM-style precision reamer for use in standard straight-shank chucks and collets on CNC machining centers and drill presses requiring 0.76 mm bore finishing capability.
Installation and use of this reamer should be performed by qualified machinists or toolroom personnel. Ensure the spindle and workpiece are fully secured and the machine is at a complete stop before mounting or removing the tool. Use appropriate cutting fluid or coolant for the workpiece material to extend tool life and maintain bore finish quality. Do not force the reamer into undersized pilot holes — ensure the pre-drilled hole is within the recommended stock allowance for the reamer diameter before use.
