The HERTEL 12467759 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal, alloy, and hard material applications. With a 3/4 inch mill diameter and a 1-1/2 inch length of cut, it delivers consistent material removal in profiling, slotting, and peripheral milling. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral configuration with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and a smooth surface finish. Centercutting geometry allows the tool to plunge directly into the workpiece. Micrograin carbide construction provides wear resistance and edge retention at higher feed rates and cutting speeds compared to standard carbide grades.
This end mill is suited for ferrous and non-ferrous machining in CNC machining centers and manual mills where tight tolerances are required. The bright, uncoated finish makes it a practical general-purpose choice across a range of work materials. Single-end configuration and a 3/4 inch shank diameter suit standard ER collet chucks, end mill holders, and milling arbors commonly used in job shop and production environments. Machinists and CNC operators working in aerospace, die and mold, and general manufacturing will find this tool appropriate for both roughing and finishing passes.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide square end mill in the HERTEL HSQSC4-CC series, compatible with standard 3/4 inch end mill holders, ER collet chucks, and milling arbors used in CNC and manual milling applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully powered down and at rest before loading or unloading the tool. Secure the shank to the specified clamping torque for the holder type being used, following the holder manufacturer's guidelines. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, as carbide tools are brittle and can fracture if impacted or improperly handled.
