The HERTEL 1001129 is a VBMT331LF HC210 solid carbide turning insert designed for precision metal cutting on CNC and manual lathes. Coated with Titanium Nitride (TiN) via PVD process, this screw-on insert features a 35-degree diamond shape with a neutral hand orientation and a positive rake geometry. The inscribed circle measures 3/8 inches and the corner radius is 1/64 inches (0.0160 inches). Insert length is 16.61 mm (0.6539 inches) and insert thickness is 3/16 inches (0.1875 inches). The HC210 manufacturer grade delivers reliable wear resistance across a range of workpiece materials.

This insert is suited for turning operations on stainless steel, non-ferrous materials, and superalloys, consistent with primary workpiece material codes M, N, and S. Secondary workpiece compatibility includes cast iron (code K). Installation Notes
