The HERTEL 1001125 is a solid carbide turning insert with a TPG321 style geometry designed for use in CNC and manual lathe turning operations. The insert features a Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) TiN coating over the HC210 grade carbide substrate, providing wear resistance and thermal stability at the cutting edge. It carries a 60-degree triangular shape with a neutral hand orientation, a 3/8 inch inscribed circle, and a 1/64 inch corner radius. The insert measures 16.5 mm (0.6496 inches) in length and 1/8 inch in thickness. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working in production turning environments are the primary users of this insert.

This insert is suited for turning operations on stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, and cast materials, corresponding to ISO workpiece material groups M, N, S, and K. It fits into standard TPG-style clamp-style toolholders with a clearance code of P and tolerance code of G. The KENDEX series designation identifies the toolholder system family for which this insert is engineered. Maximum depth of cut is 1.25 mm (0.0492 inches), making it appropriate for finishing and light semi-finishing passes.
