The HERTEL 1000681 is a solid carbide turning insert in the TPG320 style, designed for external turning operations on CNC and manual lathes. This uncoated, neutral-hand insert features a 60-degree triangular shape with an inscribed circle of 0.375 inches and a corner radius of 0.004 inches. At 0.65 inches in length and 0.125 inches thick, it fits standard TPG-style clamp-type toolholders. Manufactured to HT10 grade solid carbide, it delivers consistent edge geometry on non-ferrous, stainless, and cast material applications. It is part of the KENDEX series and carries a G tolerance code with P clearance code.

This insert is suited for precision turning in light-to-moderate cutting conditions. It is commonly used in job shops and production environments where tight tolerances and sharp edge geometry are required. The neutral hand orientation allows use in both right-hand and left-hand toolholder setups depending on application. Workpiece material compatibility includes non-ferrous metals (N), superalloys (S), cast iron (K), and non-ferrous alloys (M).
