The HERTEL 1000668 is a solid carbide turning insert in the TPG321 style, designed for external turning operations on CNC and manual lathes. Manufactured to the KENDEX series with a triangular insert shape and 60-degree included angle, it carries a multi-layer CVD coating of TiC, TiCN, and TiN over the carbide substrate. Grade HC335 provides wear resistance and thermal stability across a range of cutting conditions. The 3/8-inch inscribed circle and 0.0160-inch corner radius suit general-purpose finishing and semi-finishing passes. A licensed machinist or CNC operator installs this insert using the standard clamp-style holding method on compatible toolholders.
