The HERTEL 1000405 is a solid carbide turning insert in the SPU422 style, designed for precision metal cutting on CNC lathes and turning centers. The insert has a 90-degree square shape with a 0.5-inch inscribed circle, a 0.0312-inch (1/32 inch) corner radius, and a neutral hand orientation.
