The HERTEL 1000152 is a right-hand MTAN-style indexable turning toolholder designed for negative-rake external turning operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Built from steel, it features a 0.5 inch x 0.5 inch shank and an overall length of 4.5 inches. The toolholder uses a clamp-and-screw insert holding method and is compatible with TN..22. series inserts with a 0.25 inch inscribed circle. A -5 degree rake angle and 3-degree lead angle make it well-suited for general-purpose turning of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It is part of the Multi-Option series and does not include coolant-through capability.

This toolholder is intended for production and job-shop turning applications where consistent insert indexing and rigid clamping are required. The 0.5 inch back-of-bar to cutting edge dimension suits standard small-bore and external turning setups.
