The HERTEL 1000016 is a right-hand SCLC-style indexable turning toolholder designed for use with CC..21.5 series carbide inserts. It features a neutral rake geometry and a screw-type insert holding method, providing secure, repeatable insert clamping during external turning operations. The 0.5 inch square shank and 3.5 inch overall length make this holder well suited for medium-duty lathe work. Steel construction provides the rigidity needed to maintain dimensional accuracy under continuous cutting loads.
