The HERTEL 02477339 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it carries a TiN (titanium nitride) coating that extends cutting-edge life under elevated heat conditions. The cutter measures 1/2 inch in diameter with a 2-inch length of cut and a 4-inch overall length. Four right-hand flutes with a right-hand cutting direction deliver efficient chip evacuation during roughing passes. This tool is installed by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working on manual mills, CNC machining centers, and knee mills.

This end mill is suited for roughing operations on ferrous and non-ferrous metals where stock removal rate is the priority over surface finish. The regular-length geometry makes it a practical choice for general-purpose roughing in job shop and production environments.
