The GWS 313148 is a single-end square end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built from submicron-grade solid carbide, it delivers the rigidity and edge retention needed for demanding cuts. The 2-flute geometry with a 45-degree right-hand helix provides aggressive chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. A ZrN (zirconium nitride) coating adds surface hardness and reduces friction, extending tool life in abrasive applications. The mill measures 5/16 inches in diameter with a 2-1/8 inch length of cut and a 4 inch overall length.
