The GOODMAN gpch33031 is a 2.5-ton horizontal packaged air conditioner rated at 13.4 SEER2 and 10.6 EER2, designed for ducted residential and light commercial applications. It uses R-32 refrigerant, operates on 208/230-volt single-phase power at 60 Hz, and delivers 27,000 BTU/h of rated cooling capacity through a single-stage scroll compressor. The unit ships factory-charged and is ETL listed. With a multi-speed indoor blower offering five speed settings and a maximum airflow of 925 cubic feet per minute, it is sized for horizontal installation in crawlspace or rooftop configurations. Licensed HVAC technicians perform the installation and commissioning of this equipment.
The gpch33031 is built for horizontal ducted installations in residential and multi-family construction where vertical clearance is limited and horizontal air discharge is required. Its self-contained, all-electric design integrates the condenser, evaporator, and blower in a single outdoor cabinet measuring 66 inches wide, 30 inches tall, and 34 inches deep. The unit is suited for new construction and replacement projects where a compact packaged platform and R-32 refrigerant compliance are required. Compatible accessory and component references include GPHMD101-103, PCCP101-103, PCEF101-103, PCMD101-103, PCP101-103, OT18-60A, IRKT-01, and SQRPCH101, among others listed in the factory documentation.
Compatible accessory and component references stated by the manufacturer include: 0259G00213, DDNECNJPCHHA, DHZECNJPGCHM, DPHFRA, GPHMD101-103, INFKPKG01, IRKT-01, OT18-60A, PCCP101-103, PCEF101-103, PCMD101-103, PCMDM101-103, PCP101-103, PCP101-103R8, SQRPC101, and SQRPCH101.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician holding the appropriate EPA Section 608 certification for R-32 refrigerant handling. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power before servicing any component. Horizontal packaged units require a level, structurally sound mounting surface and proper duct connections at the supply and return air openings; consult local mechanical codes and the unit installation manual for clearance, support, and condensate drain requirements. Do not operate the unit outside the specified voltage range of 187 to 253 volts or exceed the 30-amp maximum overcurrent protection rating.
