The GLOBAL turbo200minioval is a universal run capacitor engineered to replace a wide range of individual fan capacitors with a single stocked unit. Rated for capacitance values from 2.5 microfarads (MFD) to 15 MFD and compatible with both 370-volt and 440-volt systems, it is suited for residential and light commercial HVAC fan motor applications. The unit is filled with a thick non-PCB dielectric fluid to manage heat buildup. Brass terminals resist corrosion. Each unit is individually tested and labeled with exact MFD ratings at the end of the manufacturing process. HVAC technicians install this capacitor as a direct replacement to reduce van stock and simplify service calls.
The turbo200minioval is intended for fan motor circuits in split-system air conditioners, heat pumps, and package units where single-run capacitors in the 2.5 MFD to 15 MFD range are required. The oval mini form factor fits standard capacitor mounting brackets found in most residential condenser and air handler cabinets. It ships with a Compressor Protector Terminal (CPT), a proprietary terminal that functions as a kill switch between the capacitor and hard-start kits to help protect the compressor. Suitable for installations where reducing capacitor SKU count in the service vehicle is a priority.
Designed as a universal OEM-style replacement run capacitor for fan motor circuits in residential and light commercial HVAC systems requiring capacitance values between 2.5 MFD and 15 MFD at 370 or 440 volts. Compatible with Turbo 200 and 200X series applications as noted by the manufacturer.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician. Disconnect and lock out all power to the unit before removing or handling any capacitor. Capacitors store an electrical charge even after power is removed and must be safely discharged before handling. Verify the required MFD rating and voltage match the motor nameplate before connecting the replacement unit.
