Gibraltar SPC_3 Spring Clamp 3 Inch Jaw Opening

Product Description

The GIBRALTAR SPC_3 is a spring clamp designed for holding, clamping, and securing workpieces during fabrication, assembly, and installation tasks. With a 3-inch jaw opening capacity and a 9-inch overall length, this clamp provides a firm, consistent grip without requiring tools to operate. The vinyl-coated handle improves grip comfort and reduces hand fatigue during repeated use. It is a single-action, spring-tensioned design suited for light- to medium-duty clamping applications across trades including HVAC sheet metal work, electrical rough-in, plumbing, and general construction staging.

This spring clamp is used wherever a fast, hands-free hold is needed on panels, conduit runs, pipe sections, ductwork flanges, or framing components. The 3-inch jaw suits a wide range of material thicknesses. At 0.35 pounds, it is lightweight enough for one-handed positioning. Typical users include HVAC installers, sheet metal workers, electricians, plumbers, and general contractors who need a reliable temporary hold during layout or assembly without dedicated fasteners.

Installation Notes

No special tools are required to operate this spring clamp. Inspect jaw pads before use to confirm they will not mar or scratch sensitive material surfaces. Do not exceed the rated jaw opening capacity, as overextending the spring mechanism can reduce clamping force over time. Store away from excessive heat sources to preserve the vinyl handle integrity.
