The GERBER 12-892 is a rectangular drop-in lavatory basin designed for single-hole faucet installation in residential bathroom applications. It measures 22 inches in overall width and 17.75 inches in overall depth, with an inner bowl measuring 16.875 inches by 10.875 inches. The medium-profile design delivers the elevated look of a vessel sink while installing as a standard drop-in unit, making it a practical choice for countertop installations. The rear-oriented drain hole simplifies drain alignment and rough-in. The concealed front overflow meets standard plumbing requirements. Licensed plumbers and finish contractors are the typical installers for this fixture.
The 12-892 is suited for residential bathroom vanity countertop installations where a rectangular drop-in basin is specified. Its single-hole deck configuration accepts most standard single-handle or widespread faucets with an escutcheon plate. The unit is ADA-compliant for accessible bathroom installations and is finished in white. Faucet and drain hardware are not included and must be sourced separately. It works with most standard countertop cutout installations and is appropriate for both new construction and remodel projects.
Designed as an OEM-style drop-in lavatory replacement or new-installation basin for residential bathroom vanity countertops requiring a rectangular single-hole drop-in fixture. Faucet and drain sold separately.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the applicable International Plumbing Code requirements. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before removing any existing fixture. Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the underside of the basin rim before setting into the countertop cutout to ensure a watertight seal. Refer to the manufacturer spec sheet for cutout dimensions and mounting clip placement prior to cutting the countertop.
