FPLP-rated cable meets the plenum-space requirements of the National Electrical Code for use in air-handling ducts, raised floors, and open ceiling plenums where smoke and flame propagation must be controlled. The solid conductor construction supports low-resistance signal runs common in initiating device circuits and notification appliance circuits in conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
