The GENERIC / UNBRANDED eci-345 is a universal apartment intercom station designed for residential and commercial building entry systems. It supports 3-wire, 4-wire, and 5-wire intercom system configurations within a single model, eliminating the need to stock multiple station variants. The faceplate is molded from white high-impact ABS plastic. The station provides two-way voice communication and positive door-release operation. It is intended for installation by low-voltage technicians or licensed electricians in multifamily residential and light commercial buildings of any size, from small single-entrance buildings to larger multi-entrance facilities.

This intercom station is suited for apartment buildings, condominiums, and commercial entry points where a tenant or occupant station is required. Its mounting hole pattern accommodates both vertical and horizontal orientations, and it mounts over a standard single-gang electrical back box, a standard mounting ring, or flush housing units IH101 and IH102. The advanced internal circuitry supports buildings with one or multiple entrance points, making it a flexible fit for a wide range of intercom infrastructure layouts. Optional accessory AP543 adaptor plate expands replacement compatibility further.

Compatibility

Installation Notes

De-energize the intercom system at the power supply before disconnecting or connecting any station wiring. Verify the wiring configuration (3-wire, 4-wire, or 5-wire) at the existing back box before selecting termination points on the new station. Do not apply line voltage to low-voltage intercom wiring terminals.
