The GENERAC POWER SYSTEMS, INC. 7325 is a dual-fuel home standby generator that delivers 22,500 watts on natural gas and 22,000 watts on LP gas. It connects directly to an existing natural gas or LP supply line and starts automatically within seconds of detecting a utility power loss. The unit runs continuously until grid power is restored, requiring no manual intervention. A 200-amp automatic transfer switch is included. Built-in WiFi enables remote monitoring and status alerts. This generator is installed by licensed electricians and, where required, by licensed gas contractors working together on a permanent standby application.
The 7325 is designed for residential whole-house or essential-circuit standby applications. It suits single-family homes where extended outages pose a risk to HVAC systems, refrigeration, medical equipment, sump pumps, or security systems. The included 200A automatic transfer switch supports full-panel coverage in most standard residential electrical configurations. The dual-fuel capability gives installers and homeowners flexibility when only one fuel type is available at the site.
Designed as a permanent residential home standby generator compatible with both natural gas and LP fuel systems. Specific compatible transfer switch configurations and load management accessories should be verified with Generac documentation for this model prior to installation.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician and a licensed gas contractor in accordance with local codes, NEC requirements, and the manufacturer installation manual. Shut off utility power and close the gas supply valve before making any electrical or fuel connections. The unit requires a dedicated concrete or approved composite pad and must be positioned per local setback requirements from structures and openings. Do not operate in an enclosed space — this generator produces carbon monoxide and requires unobstructed outdoor ventilation.
