The ERICKSON 6630 is a 30-inch stretch cord built for securing loads during transport and storage. The core is multi-strand natural rubber, which provides consistent elasticity and returns to shape after repeated use. The exterior is nylon-covered for abrasion resistance, and the hooks are vinyl-coated to protect the surface of whatever they contact. Rated flexible down to -40 degrees F, this cord maintains performance in cold-weather conditions. The construction is also ozone- and sunlight-resistant, making it suitable for outdoor and open-trailer applications. Installers and field techs who routinely strap down equipment, tools, or materials will find this a dependable everyday cord.
This stretch cord is used across a wide range of trade and service applications. It is commonly used to secure tool bags, conduit bundles, pipe sections, and loose equipment on service trucks, flatbeds, and utility trailers. The 30-inch length suits mid-size loads where a shorter cord lacks reach and a longer cord would leave excess slack. Colors are assorted and cannot be specified at the time of order.
Designed as a general-purpose stretch cord compatible with standard hook anchor points on truck beds, utility trailers, cargo vans, and service vehicle racks.
Attach each hook securely to a fixed anchor point before applying tension to the cord. Do not overstretch beyond the cord's natural elastic range, as this can permanently deform the rubber core or cause hook disengagement. Inspect hooks and cord body for cracking, fraying, or deformation before each use and replace if damage is found.
