The core is built from multi-strand natural rubber, giving it reliable stretch and rebound performance across a wide temperature range, down to -40 degrees F. A nylon outer sleeve protects the rubber core from abrasion and UV exposure, while vinyl-coated hooks resist corrosion and reduce the risk of surface scratching on whatever they contact. The 18-inch measurement reflects the strap length without the S-hooks attached. Installers, service techs, and tradespeople use these to bundle hoses, cables, and equipment on the job.
