The DYMON 83319 is a torque seal indicator paste used to provide a fast, reliable visual check for vibratory loosening or tampering in nuts, bolts, fasteners, and mechanical assemblies. Applied as a stripe across a fastener and its mating surface, the paste dries to a solid mark that breaks cleanly if the fastener moves. This makes it straightforward to verify torque integrity during inspections without retorquing every fastener. The 83319 is used by HVAC technicians, electricians, plumbers, equipment installers, and fleet mechanics on any application where fastener security must be confirmed at a glance.
Cross Check paste is suited for residential and commercial mechanical work wherever fastener tamper detection or torque verification is required. It bonds well to metal, plastic, and painted surfaces, making it versatile across electrical panels, pipe flanges, equipment covers, and structural fasteners. Available in orange, green, red, yellow, and blue — all five colors fluoresce under black or UV light, improving visibility in low-light service environments. It is commonly used in warranty documentation workflows to demonstrate that fasteners have not been disturbed since installation.
Designed for use on nuts, bolts, fasteners, and mechanical assemblies across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general mechanical service applications where torque verification or tamper detection is required.
Clean and dry the fastener and mating surface before applying paste to ensure proper adhesion. Apply a continuous stripe across the fastener head and onto the surrounding surface after the fastener has been torqued to specification. Allow the paste to cure fully before the assembly is placed back in service. No special tools are required, but work surfaces should be free of oils and loose debris for best results.
