The DSC MX916 is an addressable loop smoke and heat detector suitable for use with IQ Pro panels. For operation, it requires an HSM3105 MX addressable loop module to be connected to the IQ Pro. This detector features three detection modes: optical, heat-enhanced optical, and a fixed temperature of two hundred degrees Fahrenheit (ninety-three degrees Celsius). This versatility allows the device to detect various fire types, from smoldering to fully ignited flames.
