The CROWN 7340F is a penetrant lubricant formulated with aliphatic hydrocarbon, butyl stearate, petrolatum, and white mineral oil in a 5-gallon pail. It penetrates corroded and seized fasteners, displaces moisture, and leaves a protective barrier against future corrosion. The light amber fluid is silicone-free and does not leave a gummy residue after application. Operating range spans 40 degrees F to 110 degrees F, and the flash point is 200 degrees F. Flammable classification applies. This product is not rated for extreme pressure or high-temperature service. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial maintenance crews use it on threaded connections, fittings, and mechanical assemblies where rust and moisture are concerns.
The CROWN 7340F is suited for light-duty penetrating and lubricating tasks in residential and commercial maintenance environments. Typical applications include loosening corroded bolts, lubricating mechanical linkages, and protecting metal surfaces from moisture-related degradation. The silicone-free composition makes it compatible with applications where silicone contamination is a concern. It is not intended for food-grade or food-contact service. The 5-gallon pail size is appropriate for shop use or fleet-level service operations where single-can quantities are not practical.
Designed as a general-purpose penetrant lubricant for use on metal fasteners, fittings, linkages, and mechanical assemblies where rust, corrosion, or moisture intrusion is present. Not rated for food-grade, extreme-pressure, or high-temperature applications.
Apply only in well-ventilated areas — this product is flammable with a flash point of 200 degrees F, so keep away from open flame, sparks, and ignition sources during use. Power down or de-energize any equipment before applying penetrant to electrical connections or mechanical components. Allow adequate dwell time for penetration before attempting to free seized fasteners. Consult the Safety Data Sheet and follow all applicable OSHA 29 CFR guidelines before handling or storing this product.
