The CRATEX 6202 C is a square abrasive stick used for deburring, honing, and surface finishing in tight or precision areas. It measures 0.25 inches wide by 0.25 inches thick by 6 inches long and is rated coarse grade, making it well suited for aggressive material removal on metal, ceramic, or composite surfaces. This type of abrasive stick is commonly used by machinists, tool-and-die workers, and maintenance technicians who need a hand-held abrasive tool for finishing grooves, slots, bores, and edges that rotating tools cannot easily reach.
The 6202 C fits standard abrasive stick applications in light industrial and precision manufacturing environments. Its square cross-section allows the user to address flat surfaces and right-angle corners with consistent contact. Coarse grade stock removal makes it appropriate for initial deburring passes before stepping down to finer grades. It is sold individually and is compatible with general hand-lapping and bench-finishing work across a range of materials.
Designed as a general-purpose hand abrasive stick for bench finishing, deburring, and honing applications across metal, ceramic, and composite workpieces where a square-profile tool is required.
This abrasive stick is used by hand or with a holder during bench or in-situ finishing operations. Secure the workpiece before applying pressure to avoid movement or injury. When working near machinery, follow lockout/tagout procedures to ensure equipment is de-energized. Progress to a finer grade abrasive stick after coarse material removal is complete to achieve the desired surface finish.
