Comelit Usa KVU8571 Ip Intercom Kit 4-port Poe

Product Description

The COMELIT USA KVU8571 is an IP intercom kit that combines a video surface-mount door station with a master station and a 4-port Power over Ethernet switch. The kit delivers structured, networked audio and video communication between a building entry point and an interior monitoring station. Installers use the PoE architecture to carry both data and power over a single Ethernet run, reducing wiring complexity. This kit is suited for commercial and residential access control projects where a complete, matched door-station and master-station solution is required out of the box.

The KVU8571 is designed for IP-based intercom installations in commercial buildings, multi-tenant residential properties, and secured facility entrances. The surface-mount door station mounts directly to a wall or door frame at the entry point, while the master station is positioned at a reception desk, security post, or interior monitoring location. The included 4-port PoE switch provides the network backbone for the system without requiring a separate injector or unmanaged switch for small deployments.

Key Features

• Complete kit includes video surface-mount door station, master station, and 4-port PoE switch
• Power over Ethernet eliminates the need for separate power supplies at the door station
• IP-based architecture supports structured network cabling and integration with access control infrastructure
• Surface-mount door station design simplifies installation on flat wall and door-frame surfaces
• Matched OEM components reduce compatibility risk compared to mixed-brand assemblies

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM IP intercom kit for networked door-station and master-station installations requiring a 4-port PoE switch infrastructure.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage or security systems technician familiar with IP network wiring and access control systems. Power down all network equipment before connecting or disconnecting PoE-powered devices. Follow local low-voltage wiring codes and the manufacturer wiring diagrams when terminating Ethernet runs to the door station and master station. Do not connect the PoE switch to an upstream power source until all downstream devices are fully terminated and inspected.
