The CLE-LINE C18100 is a wire gauge jobber-length drill bit sized at No. 47 (0.0785 inches decimal equivalent) built from high-speed steel with a black and gold oxide coating. The 135-degree split point reduces walking on entry and requires less feed pressure compared to a conventional 118-degree point, making it well-suited for production drilling in steel and cast iron. The bit runs a regular spiral flute with a tapered web configuration and measures 2 inches overall length with a 1-inch flute length. It meets ASME B94.11M and DIN 338 standards and is rated heavy duty for high-performance applications.

This bit is intended for drilling steel and cast iron in light manufacturing, maintenance and repair, and fabrication environments. The straight cylindrical shank fits standard three-jaw drill chucks on benchtop drill presses, hand drills, and CNC drilling spindles set up for straight-shank tooling. Right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional clockwise-rotation drilling.
