The CARRHILL PRA114 is a 1.25-inch MIPT steel by MDPE anodeless transition riser designed to connect underground medium-density polyethylene (MDPE) gas service lines to above-ground steel piping systems. This fitting bridges the transition from buried plastic gas distribution pipe to a threaded steel service connection without the use of a traditional anode, simplifying installation in low-pressure gas service applications. It is typically installed by licensed plumbers or gas fitters at the point where the service line emerges from the ground at a meter set or appliance service entrance.
