The CARMEX 16IRAG60BXC is a solid carbide laydown threading insert designed for right-hand internal threading operations. It cuts a 60-degree included angle partial profile thread and covers a thread pitch range of 48 to 8 TPI (0.50 to 3.00 mm pitch), making it a versatile single-tool solution across a wide range of thread sizes. The insert features a 3/8-inch (0.3750 inches) inscribed circle and measures 0.1460 inches thick. A PVD-applied TiN coating increases surface hardness and extends tool life across demanding cutting conditions. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working in turning centers and lathes are the primary users of this insert.

This insert is suited for internal threading on a wide range of workpiece materials.
