The CARMEX 1/4INRH24UNP30 is a solid carbide laydown threading insert designed for right-hand internal UN thread cutting at 24 threads per inch. It features a 1/4-inch inscribed circle (0.2500 inches) and a thickness of 0.1270 inches. The 60-degree included angle matches the standard UN thread form. Supplied uncoated in manufacturer grade P30 and material grade C5, this insert is suited for a wide range of workpiece materials. It is installed by machinists and toolroom technicians on CNC lathes and manual turning centers equipped with compatible boring bar or internal threading toolholders.
