The CAMPBELL 5412095 is a screw pin anchor shackle built from forged alloy steel with a galvanized finish for corrosion resistance. Anchor shackles, sometimes called bow shackles, feature a rounded oval body that distributes load across a wider arc than chain shackles, making them suited for multi-leg sling lifts and rigging applications where side loading is a factor. The screw pin closure threads securely into the bow body and can be tightened or removed without tools for quick rigging changes. This shackle meets ASTM A-153 standards for hot-dip galvanized zinc coating on iron and steel hardware. It is handled and installed by riggers, ironworkers, construction crews, and maintenance professionals working in demanding environments.
This anchor shackle is used in overhead lifting, tie-down, and load-securing applications across construction, marine, industrial, and utility jobsites. The galvanized finish provides durability in wet or outdoor environments. The forged alloy steel construction gives the body and pin the structural integrity required for sustained load cycles. The maximum pin or bow thickness this shackle accommodates is 3 inches, making it appropriate for heavy-duty rigging configurations where large-diameter chain or wire rope must be secured to a lifting point.
Designed as a standard screw pin anchor shackle for use with chain, wire rope, synthetic slings, and rigging hardware sized to the shackle bow capacity in overhead lifting and load-securing applications.
Screw pin shackles should be installed by qualified riggers following applicable ASME B30.26 rigging hardware standards. Always ensure the screw pin is fully threaded and seated before applying load. Never side-load a shackle beyond its rated capacity, and do not use a shackle with a bent, cracked, or deformed body or pin. Inspect the galvanized finish and threads for wear or corrosion before each use.
