The Camden Door Controls CM-RX-91 is a wireless RF receiver designed for use in access control and automatic door systems. Operating at either 12 or 24 volts DC, it receives signals from compatible LazerPoint RF transmitters to trigger door release, automatic operators, or other access control devices. The CM-RX-91 is suited for commercial and institutional door installations where a hardwired push button or exit device is impractical. Licensed electricians and low-voltage access control technicians are the primary installers for this type of receiver.
The CM-RX-91 is used in commercial door hardware applications requiring wireless activation of electric strikes, magnetic locks, or automatic door operators. It fits into exit device and push button control systems, making it a practical solution for hands-free or remote door activation in offices, healthcare facilities, and public buildings. It is sold as a single unit and is part of the Camden LazerPoint RF product family.
Designed as an OEM-style receiver for use within the Camden LazerPoint RF wireless access control system, compatible with LazerPoint RF transmitters operating at 12 or 24 volts.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage technician or electrician familiar with access control wiring practices. Disconnect power to the door control system before wiring the receiver. Follow NEC guidelines for low-voltage control wiring and verify the supply voltage matches the receiver input before energizing. Do not exceed the rated voltage input or connect to AC power sources without appropriate conversion hardware.
