The CAMBRIDGE 223513 is a pre-insulated mini split line set designed to connect the indoor air handler to the outdoor condensing unit in a ductless mini split system. The set includes a 1/4-inch liquid line and a 1/2-inch suction line, running 35 feet in length. Both lines are terminated with double flare nuts for a reliable, leak-resistant connection. The Armashield insulation wrapping protects the suction line from heat gain and condensation, which is critical for maintaining system efficiency. This line set ships without communication or power wire, making it suitable for installations where line voltage or control wiring is routed separately. HVAC technicians install this as part of new mini split system commissioning or as a replacement in retrofit applications.
This line set is suited for residential and light commercial ductless mini split installations where a 35-foot run is required between the indoor and outdoor units. The 1/4-inch by 1/2-inch line size is a common configuration for smaller-capacity mini split systems, typically in the 9,000 to 18,000 BTU/h range. It is intended for use in installations where the installer supplies separate electrical and communication wiring. The no-wire design keeps the refrigerant circuit isolated and allows full flexibility in wire routing during rough-in.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation line set for ductless mini split systems requiring a 1/4-inch by 1/2-inch line pair with a 35-foot run length. Cross-reference part numbers 408K035B3B6L and B141212035.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician certified to handle refrigerants under EPA Section 608 requirements. Shut off and lock out the mini split system completely before connecting or disconnecting any refrigerant lines. Inspect flare seats and double flare nuts for damage before torquing connections to avoid refrigerant leaks. Do not kink or sharply bend the copper lines during routing, as this will restrict refrigerant flow and degrade system performance.
