Product Description

The BRK BR5100 is the largest reversible plate compactor in the Bartell fleet, built for high-force compaction on demanding jobsite applications. It runs on a Yanmar L100 diesel engine and features a fully hydraulic reversing mechanism that allows the operator to switch between forward, backward, and spot compaction without stopping. The cast aluminum throttle lever provides durable, professional-grade control, while the integrated lifting bale supports safe loading and unloading. A full roll cage and cast aluminum belt cover protect both the clutch and engine from jobsite impact and debris.

The BR5100 is designed for compacting sand, trench fills, and patching applications where high travel speed and precise directional control are required. It is suited for commercial and municipal paving, utility trench restoration, and similar heavy-duty compaction work. Both key start and recoil start options are available, giving operators flexibility depending on jobsite conditions. Optional extension plates are available to further increase production rates on wider passes.
