The BONEHAM SP00008944 is a slip-fixed drill bushing designed to locate and guide cutting tools during drilling, reaming, and boring operations in jig and fixture applications. Built to the SF industry standard, this bushing features a 3/4 inch body outside diameter and a 0.375 inch length under head, making it suitable for moderate-depth jig plate installations. The renewable design allows the bushing to be removed and replaced without disturbing the liner bushing pressed into the jig plate, which keeps downtime low in production environments. Machinists, tool and die makers, and jig builders are the primary installers.
This bushing is used in precision drill jig fixtures across general metalworking, tool rooms, and production machining environments. The SF configuration is selected when a fixed, slip-in bushing is needed with a headed flange to provide positive axial location against the jig plate surface. The inside diameter letter designation is Q, which corresponds to a specific drill or reamer wire gauge size. This part is sold as a single unit and is appropriate for both new fixture builds and replacement in existing jig plates where the liner bushing is already installed.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-build component for drill jig fixtures requiring a standard SF slip-fixed renewable bushing with a 3/4 inch body outside diameter and Q inside diameter designation.
Installation is performed by machinists or tool and die makers working with jig and fixture assemblies. The slip-fixed bushing is inserted into a matched liner bushing already pressed into the jig plate — do not force-fit into an undersized liner bore. Ensure the jig plate and liner bushing bore are clean and free of chips before seating the bushing. Verify tool clearance and bushing seating before operating any drilling or reaming equipment.
