The BONEHAM SFT365IZ is a slip-fixed drill bushing designed to guide cutting tools with precision during drilling, reaming, and boring operations. Classified under industry code SF, this headed bushing features an inside diameter of 0.339 inches (letter size R) with a tight tolerance of +0.0001 to +0.0005 inches, ensuring accurate tool guidance and repeatable hole location. The body outside diameter measures 0.5625 inches (9/16 inches) with a length under head of 5/16 inches. Constructed from steel, it is built for the wear demands of production jig and fixture work. It installs via the slip-fixed method and is compatible with LS-TW-2 lock screws to secure it in the jig plate.
This bushing is used in drill jigs and fixture tooling across metalworking, machining, and fabrication environments. The slip-fixed design allows the bushing to be removed and replaced without disturbing the jig plate, making it well suited for multi-operation setups where tool changes are required between drilling and reaming passes. The renewable bushing designation confirms it is intended for field replacement when worn. Machinists, tool and die makers, and fixture builders are the primary installers of this component.
Designed for use with LS-TW-2 compatible lock screws. Fits standard jig plate counterbores sized for the SF bushing series with a 9/16 inch body outside diameter. Verify jig plate bore and counterbore dimensions before installation.
Installation is performed by toolmakers or machinists during jig and fixture assembly or maintenance. Ensure the jig plate bore is clean and free of chips or burrs before pressing or sliding the bushing into position. Secure with the appropriate LS-TW-2 lock screw to prevent movement during cutting operations. Do not modify the bushing bore or outer diameter in the field, as doing so will void dimensional tolerances.
