The BONEHAM SFT164DM is a slip-fixed (SF) drill bushing designed to guide cutting tools with precision in jig and fixture applications. Machined from steel and hardened to 60 to 65 HRC, this bushing delivers consistent bore alignment and extended service life under repeated drilling cycles. The inside diameter measures 0.1110 inches (Wire Size 34) with a tight tolerance of +0.0001 to +0.0004 inches, ensuring accurate tool guidance. A 7/16-inch head outside diameter and 1/4-inch head height seat the bushing securely in the jig plate. The bushing is compatible with an LS-TW-2 lock screw and conforms to ANSI standards. Licensed machinists, toolmakers, and manufacturing technicians are the primary installers.
The SFT164DM suits precision drilling, reaming, and boring operations in production jigs and fixtures across industrial and manufacturing environments. The slip-fixed design allows the bushing to be installed and removed without special equipment while the lock screw holds it firmly in place during operation. It is well suited for applications requiring repeatable hole location accuracy on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. The renewable bushing design means the liner can be replaced independently, reducing tooling cost over the life of the fixture.
Designed as an ANSI-standard slip-fixed drill bushing compatible with LS-TW-2 lock screws; suitable for use in standard jig and fixture plates that accept SF-series bushings with a 1/4-inch body outside diameter.
Installation is performed by toolmakers or machinists during jig and fixture setup. Ensure the liner or jig plate bore is clean and free of chips before pressing the bushing into position. Secure the bushing with an LS-TW-2 lock screw to prevent movement during tool operation. Verify bushing alignment with the workpiece hole location before commencing drilling or reaming operations.
