The bushing is manufactured from steel and hardened to 60 to 65 HRC, providing the wear resistance required for repetitive drilling, reaming, or boring operations. The headless design allows the bushing to sit flush within the drill jig plate, making it suitable where a protruding head would interfere with workpiece clearance. Installation is accomplished by press fitting the bushing into a prepared jig plate hole.
