The BONEHAM P326GO is a press fit headless drill bushing designed to guide cutting tools accurately during drilling, reaming, and boring operations. Built to ANSI standards with a hardness of 60 to 65 HRC, this steel bushing resists wear and maintains precise tool alignment over repeated use. It features a 7/32-inch inside diameter, a 1/2-inch outside diameter, and an overall bushing length of 3/8 inch. The headless design allows flush or sub-flush installation in jig plates where a protruding head would interfere with workpiece positioning or fixture clearance. Machinists and tooling specialists install this bushing in drill jigs for production and maintenance applications.
This bushing is suited for drill jig applications in machine shops, fabrication facilities, and maintenance departments. Its press fit installation method makes it appropriate for fixed-location jig setups where the bushing is not intended to be routinely removed or swapped. The P industry code designates the body geometry per ANSI jig bushing standards, making it a direct fit in jig plates bored to that specification. Typical applications include guiding twist drills, reamers, and step drills on metalworking workpieces requiring repeatable hole location.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or original-fitment press fit headless drill bushing for ANSI-standard jig plates requiring a P-series bushing with a 7/32-inch inside diameter and 1/2-inch outside diameter.
Press fit bushings are installed by machinists or toolmakers using an arbor press to seat the bushing flush into a precision-bored jig plate hole. Ensure the jig plate bore is machined to the correct tolerance for a press fit before installation. Once pressed in, this bushing is not designed for removal without damaging the bushing or the plate bore. Verify inside diameter clearance against the cutting tool shank before installation.
