The BONEHAM P3212GO is a headless press fit drill bushing used to guide drill bits with precision in jig and fixture applications. It carries a 7/32 inch inside diameter, a 1/2 inch body outside diameter, and a 3/4 inch overall length. Manufactured from steel, this Type P bushing installs flush with the jig plate surface, leaving no protruding head to interfere with workpiece clearance. Machinists and toolmakers press it directly into a drilled or reamed hole in the jig body for a secure, non-rotating fit. It is not renewable and does not require a liner bushing for installation.
This bushing is suited for production drilling operations where a permanent, flush-mount guide is required. Type P headless bushings are commonly used in drill jigs for metalworking, light fabrication, and precision machining environments. The 7/32 inch bore guides standard fractional and wire-gauge drill bits of the corresponding size. The steel construction handles repeated drill passes without significant bore wear under normal production conditions. This part is sold individually and is appropriate for shops that need a single replacement or a small quantity for a specific jig build.
Designed as a standard Type P press fit headless drill bushing for use in drill jigs and fixtures requiring a 1/2 inch outside diameter press fit bore and a 7/32 inch drill guide bore.
Installation is performed by pressing the bushing into a properly reamed hole in the jig plate using an arbor press or similar pressing equipment. The receiving hole should be sized to achieve the correct interference fit for a secure, non-rotating installation. Verify bore alignment before pressing to final depth, as the headless design does not allow for repositioning without damage. This work is typically performed by a machinist or toolmaker familiar with jig and fixture construction.
