The BONEHAM H325GM is a Type H press fit headed drill bushing designed to guide cutting tools with precision in jig and fixture applications. Constructed from steel hardened to 60 to 65 HRC, this bushing provides consistent bore alignment and resists wear during repeated drilling cycles. The inside diameter measures 0.213 inches with a tolerance of +0.0001 to +0.0004 inches, keeping drill deviation within tight limits. The headed design seats flush against the jig plate and resists axial push-through under feed force. Machinists, toolmakers, and fixture builders install this bushing as a permanent, non-renewable guide in production and prototype drilling setups.
The H325GM is suited for use in drill jigs where a permanent press fit installation is required and bushing replacement is not anticipated. The headed style is selected when the application requires a positive stop against jig plate surface pullthrough. Typical installations include multi-spindle drilling fixtures, transfer line fixtures, and hand-drill jigs used in metal fabrication, aerospace component production, and general machining shops. The bushing conforms to ANSI standards for drill bushing geometry and fit.
Designed as an ANSI-standard Type H press fit headed drill bushing for use in drill jigs and fixtures requiring a permanent, non-renewable bushing at 0.213 inches inside diameter and 1/2 inches body outside diameter.
Installation is performed by toolmakers or machinists using an arbor press to drive the bushing into a precision-reamed hole in the jig plate — never hammer directly onto the head flange. The receiving bore in the jig plate must be machined to the correct press fit tolerance before installation. Once pressed in, this bushing is not designed for removal or renewal. Verify bore alignment and bushing seating before placing the fixture into production service.
