The BONEHAM H265GF is a Type H press fit headed drill bushing designed to guide cutting tools with precision in jig and fixture applications. It features a 0.204 inch inside diameter, a 13/32 inch body outside diameter, and a 5/16 inch length under the head. Constructed from steel hardened to 60 to 65 HRC, this bushing resists wear and maintains dimensional integrity under repeated drilling cycles. The inside diameter tolerance of +0.0001 to +0.0004 inches ensures consistent tool guidance and repeatable hole location. It is installed permanently by press fit and is not designed to be renewed or replaced in the field.
This bushing is used in drill jigs, fixture plates, and tooling setups where accurate hole placement is required across production runs. The headed design seats against the top surface of the jig plate, providing a positive stop and preventing migration under load. Typical applications include metalworking, fabrication, and precision machining environments where jig bushing standards must be maintained. With a 1/2 inch head outside diameter and a 5/32 inch head height, the bushing fits standard counterbored or surface-mount jig plate configurations. It is suited for both light and medium-duty drilling operations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation press fit headed drill bushing conforming to ANSI Type H standards, compatible with jig plates and fixture bodies machined to accept a 13/32 inch body outside diameter press fit bushing.
Press fit drill bushings are typically installed by a machinist or tooling technician using an arbor press or hydraulic press. The receiving bore in the jig plate must be machined to the correct interference fit tolerance before installation. Attempting to drive the bushing in with a hammer or mallet risks cracking the bushing or damaging the bore. Do not attempt to remove and reinstall this bushing, as it is a permanent, non-renewable design.
