Installation Notes

Press fit bushings are installed by a machinist or tool and die maker using an arbor press or hydraulic press — never a hammer strike directly on the bushing head. The receiving hole in the jig plate must be machined to the proper interference fit tolerance before installation. Once pressed in, this bushing is not designed for removal or replacement. Verify inside diameter and body outside diameter against jig plate specifications before pressing to avoid damage to the tooling plate.
