The BONEHAM H2622GB is a Type H press fit headed drill bushing manufactured from steel, designed to guide drill bits and other cutting tools with precision in jig and fixture applications. With an inside diameter of 0.199 inches and a body outside diameter of 13/32 inches, this bushing maintains consistent hole location across repeated drilling operations. The head configuration adds a positive stop against the jig plate surface, keeping the bushing seated during use. A length under head of 1-3/8 inches provides adequate engagement depth for stable tooling guidance. This is a non-renewable, permanently installed bushing intended for use where the bushing does not need to be swapped between operations.
The H2622GB is suited for use in drill jigs and production fixtures in metalworking, machining, and light fabrication environments. Its press fit installation method makes it appropriate for fixed-location jig plates where the bushing is meant to remain in place for the life of the fixture. Machinists, toolmakers, and fixture builders working in job shops or production settings are the typical installers. The counterbored head design allows the bushing to seat flush or recess into the jig plate as required by the fixture design.
Designed as an OEM-style press fit headed drill bushing conforming to Type H industry standards, suitable for use in standard drill jig plates sized to accept a 13/32 inch body outside diameter bushing.
Installation is performed by toolmakers or machinists using a press or arbor press to drive the bushing into a prepared hole in the jig plate. The mating hole in the jig plate must be machined to the appropriate interference fit tolerance to ensure the bushing remains secure under operating loads. Power down and de-energize any machine tool before installing or inspecting jig components. Do not hammer the bushing in without a driver to avoid damaging the head or bore.
