The BONEHAM CB00001304 is a slip-fixed drill bushing designed to guide cutting tools with precision during drilling, reaming, and boring operations. Conforming to ANSI standards and manufactured from hardened steel, this bushing achieves a Rockwell hardness of 60 to 65 HRC, providing durable wear resistance in high-cycle jig and fixture applications. The inside diameter measures 0.1495 inches (wire size number 25) with a tight tolerance of plus 0.0001 to plus 0.0004 inches, ensuring consistent hole location and repeatability. The renewable design allows the bushing to be removed and replaced without disturbing the jig plate, making it well suited for production environments where tooling is changed between operations.
This slip-fixed bushing installs in a liner bushing that is permanently fixed in the jig plate. The SF industry code designates it for applications where the bushing must be locked in position during the cut, preventing rotation under drilling load. It is compatible with the LS-1 lock screw, which secures the bushing head against the jig plate surface. Typical use cases include metal fabrication shops, tool rooms, and production drilling fixtures in industrial and manufacturing environments. Installation is performed by tooling and fixture technicians or machinists.
Designed as a renewable slip-fixed drill bushing for use with a press-fit liner bushing installed in a jig plate. Compatible with the LS-1 lock screw for positive retention during operation.
Installation is performed by machinists or fixture technicians in a tool room or production setting. The mating liner bushing must already be permanently installed in the jig plate before inserting this slip-fixed bushing. Power down and de-energize all machine spindles before servicing jig fixtures. Ensure the lock screw is properly engaged before beginning any drilling cycle to prevent bushing rotation.
