The BONEHAM CB00001303 is a slip-fixed (SF) drill bushing designed to guide cutting tools with precision in jig and fixture applications. Machined from steel and hardened to 60 to 65 HRC, it delivers consistent bore alignment and long service life in production drilling environments. The bushing features a 0.152 inch inside diameter (wire size 24), a 0.500 inch body outside diameter, and a 0.750 inch length under head. A head-type design with a 51/64 inch head outside diameter and 1/4 inch head height seats the bushing securely in the jig plate. Installation is tool-free for the slip portion, and the bushing is secured with an LS-1 compatible lock screw. This part is installed and replaced by machinists, toolmakers, and manufacturing engineers.
The CB00001303 is suited for use in drill jigs, assembly fixtures, and production tooling where repeatable hole location is required. The slip-fixed design allows the bushing to be removed and replaced without disturbing the jig liner, making it appropriate for operations that involve multiple tool passes such as drilling followed by reaming or countersinking. Its renewable construction supports fixture maintenance in both short-run and high-volume manufacturing settings.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit component for drill jigs and fixtures requiring a standard ANSI slip-fixed bushing with a 0.500 inch body outside diameter and LS-1 lock screw retention.
Slip-fixed bushings are installed by toolmakers or machinists into a press-fit liner already seated in the jig plate. Ensure the jig liner bore and the bushing body outside diameter are clean and free of burrs before inserting the bushing. Secure the bushing with an LS-1 lock screw tightened to the fixture specification; do not over-tighten, as this can distort the bore. Verify inside diameter alignment with the tool being guided before running production.
