The BONEHAM CB00001141 is a slip-fixed (SF) drill bushing designed to guide cutting tools with precision in jig and fixture applications. Constructed from steel and hardened to 60 to 65 HRC, this bushing delivers consistent bore location across high-volume drilling, reaming, and similar operations. The inside diameter measures 0.25 inches (Letter E) with a tight tolerance of +0.0001 to +0.0004 inches, ensuring accurate tool guidance with minimal deflection. The body outside diameter is 0.5 inches, the length under the head is 1 inch, and the head outside diameter is 51/64 inch. The counterbored head design locks into the jig plate via an LS-1 compatible lock screw, keeping the bushing fixed during machining cycles.
This bushing is used in production drilling jigs and machining fixtures where a renewable, locking bushing is required. The slip-fixed configuration allows the bushing to be removed and replaced without disturbing the jig plate, making it well suited for maintenance environments and multi-operation fixtures. Machinists, toolmakers, and fixture builders working in job shops, aerospace fabrication, and general manufacturing will find this part a standard fit for ANSI-compliant jig setups.
Designed as an ANSI-standard slip-fixed (SF) drill bushing compatible with LS-1 lock screws. Fits standard jig plates and fixtures dimensioned for a 0.5 inch body outside diameter slip-fixed bushing per ANSI specifications.
Installation is performed by toolmakers or machinists during jig assembly or bushing replacement. Ensure the jig plate bore is clean and dimensioned to the correct slip-fixed counterbore before inserting the bushing. Secure the bushing with an LS-1 lock screw torqued to the fixture manufacturer's specification. Never drive the bushing in with impact; press or hand-seat it to avoid damaging the precision bore.
